Bet of the day: Harden to score 30 or more in Rockets romp
Robbie Purves | 27 December 2016
Coral’s bet of the day
- James Harden is averaging 27.5 points per game this season
- The superstar has scored 30 or more points in 12 games this term
- Rockets have won each of their last three matchups with Mavs
Harden 7/4 to score 30 or more in Rockets win
Mike D’Antoni’s Houston Rockets outfit come into this Texan clash looking to claim a season sweep over the Dallas Mavericks.
Dallas are one of the worst defensive efficiency teams in the league and James Harden looks set to take full advantage. The Los Angeles born guard is averaging a career high 27.5 points a game this campaign and, thanks to Mavericks’ lax defence, should be able to breeze into a high points total.
Nicknamed ‘The Beard’, Harden will look to punish a Rick Carlisle side languishing second bottom of the Western Conference, while D’Antoni’s men are currently flying high in third.
Harden has scored 30 or more on 12 occasions this term so, with this in mind, be sure to back him to do the same in a Rockets win at 7/4 for Coral’s latest bet of the day (£20/€ max stake).
Harden to shine in Rockets romp
After yesterday’s 131-115 home win over the Phoenix Suns, Houston have won 12 of their last 14 games and Harden is now a serious contender to grab MVP honours.
Rockets have won each of their last three matchups with Dallas and the stats don’t make pretty reading for Mavs fans.
Dallas rank last in the league in scoring at 94.1 ppg, while Houston sit second, scoring a huge 113.5 per matchup.
Harden notched 32 in his last run out on the hardcourt and seems determined to challenge Russell Westbrook for the league’s most coveted individual award.
Expect the usual barrage of three-pointers to rain down upon the Mavericks tonight, as Harden stars in a Rockets win.
