Coral’s bet of the day
- Wright is world number five in PDC rankings
- Snakebite in great form of late
- Cadby will still be shellshocked after Taylor triumph
Wright is 9/4 to be King of the Oche
Peter Wright has been handed a surprise and more straightforward tie in the 2016 Perth Darts Masters quarter-finals, as local lad Corey Cadby defeated Phil Taylor in the first round.
It is from this last eight fixture that Coral have picked out their next bet of the day too, with remarkable odds of 9/4 available for Snakebite to be King of the Oche (player to win match, get most 180s and highest checkout. If any of the markets are tied, bets will be settled as losers).
Read on to find out why this bet is too good not to take…
It’s not often that odds such as these are available on a top five PDC ranked star at the expense of someone not even in the top 100 of the BDO, so make sure to snap them up while you can!
Wright is also on a great run of form of late, having reached the European Darts Open final and Sydney Masters semis in recent months, while Cadby has solely taken part in events in his homeland Australia.
Cadby to come crashing down after Taylor triumph
The 21-year-old Aussie did happen to beat Phil Taylor in the opening round, but will no doubt be shellshocked after his triumph, so it’s difficult to see how he will be able to focus after such a feat.
His comments backed that up: “I don’t know what to say, it’s an amazing moment!” Caby said. “I’m buzzing, it’s a proud moment and the best moment of my darts career.
“I knew what I had to throw to beat Phil. He’s the greatest player ever I’m glad someone stopped his record in Australia.”
So, what are you waiting for punters? Take these tasty 9/4 odds for the far superior Snakebite to bring Cadby back down to earth by outperforming him in more ways than one.
