Bet of the Day: Hammers can find the net at Wembley

There could be another goal-fest

Tottenham Hotspur host West Ham United in a Carabao Cup Round of 16 clash at Wembley on Wednesday evening.

The Hammers are struggling at the minute with Slaven Bilic under increasing pressure.

A local derby against an in-form Spurs side is the last thing the Croatian will want.

A 3-0 defeat at home against Brighton and Hove Albion in front of the TV cameras had left fans seething.

The East London outfit just can’t seem to put together a decent run of form. However, Tottenham will likely rotate in this cup tie, which could give West Ham a chance.

These two played out a highly-entertaining 3-2 scoreline at the London Stadium a month ago and a similar scenario could play out here.

Coral’s Bet of the Day is Tottenham to win and Over 2.5 Goals at 21/20.

Both sides can score on big Wembley pitch

Goals tend to fly in when Tottenham and West Ham play. There’s generally less at stake for both sides, with Spurs fighting at the other end of the table.

Four of the last six meetings have seen goals galore. Scorelines of 2-3, 3-2, 4-1, and 2-2 indicate two sides who like to entertain.

Both sides will rotate with Spurs likely to rest Harry Kane and at least one of their formidable centre-back pairing.

Bilic should bring Andy Carroll back into his starting XI.

However, Spurs are still strong favourites and whatever side Pochettino plays will be good enough for the win.

The Coral News Team reckons there are goals in this so Tottenham to win and Both Teams To Score at 17/10 is another great bet.

Get in, my Son

With Kane hobbling off near the end of the win over Liverpool, Pochettino probably won’t take any risks.

That will mean either Fernando Llorente or Son Heung-min starting up top for Spurs.

The South Korean ace hasn’t been in prolific form this season. But a goal against Liverpool a few days ago will have done his confidence the world of good.

West Ham have been leaky on the road so far this term conceding three or more goals on four separate occasions.

Son is 6/4 to score Anytime and 5/1 to net first.
