Bet of the Day: Leicester set for convincing Swans success?
Nick Murphy | 3 February 2018
Host have an excellent record
Leicester City will be looking to make it four home wins in a row when they welcome Swansea City to the King Power Stadium this afternoon.
The Foxes have been impressive on home turf of late and boast an excellent record against today’s visitors.
Claude Puel’s men have won five of their last six games against the South Wales club. Four of those victories have produced three or more goals in the game.
Both sides look good in-front of goal at the moment which suggests this could be another goal-laden encounter.
With the hosts likely to prevail, Coral’s Bet of the Day is Leicester to Win and Over 2.5 Goals at 2/1.
Vardy on target
Jamie Vardy has been on fire of late. The England ace has five goals in his last eight matches. That includes back-to-back strikes in Leicester’s two most recent games against Watford and Everton.
He’s scored against the Swans before and will use his pace to exploit a backline which has failed to keep a clean sheet in nine successive Premier League matches.
Leicester have a knack for being quick out of the blocks against Swansea. This afternoon’s hosts have been ahead at half-time in their last four matches against the South Wales club.
In the Premier League this season, they’ve been leading at the halfway stage in five of their 12 home matches.
The Coral News Team like the look of Leicester to Win the First-Half at 29/20.
