Bet of the Day: Liverpool to win in Anfield goalfest

Free-scoring Reds to continue v Arsenal

Liverpool have been anything but shy in front of goal this season. The new campaign is only four games old and already the Reds have hit three goals or more in two games and scored 10 in total.

But while the Merseysiders have been dynamite in front of goal, their defence still lacks solidity. This weekend’s opponents Arsenal find themselves in a similar situation after a 1-0 defeat at Stoke City followed a 4-3 win against Leicester City on the opening weekend.

In recent match-ups between the two clubs clean sheets have been at a premium. Last season saw the Reds triumph 3-1 and 4-3, while the season before saw the Premier League rivals share a 3-3 draw.

With that in mind, Coral’s bet of the day is Liverpool to win and Both Teams to Score at 12/5.

Goals, Goals, Goals

Given the propensity both sides have for scoring and conceding, it should be a high-scoring encounter.

Five of the last six fixtures between the two clubs have seen over 3.5 goals. And with the array of forward talent now plying their trade for the two Premier League heavyweights, it seems obvious to suggest that record is only going to continue.

It’s 11/8 for there to be Over 3.5 goals, while Over 4.5 is on offer at 16/5.

Firmino on the mark

Roberto Firmino has an excellent recent record against Arsenal.

The tricky Brazilian has scored three in his last three against the Gunners and has netted the opener on two of those occasions.

It makes sense to back that trend and go for the 5/1 Coral have put up for Firmino to score first.
