Bet of the Day: Man City to keep on scoring against Leicester
Citizens know where the net is
Leicester City host Manchester City this evening in the quarter-finals of the Carabao Cup.
The Foxes score and concede in equal measure and will likely find it tough against the visitors.
City have bagged 72 goals in all competitions so far this season, including a double against Leicester in a 2-0 win at the King Power Stadium earlier this season.
Claude Puel will be eager for his side to bounce back from Saturday’s defeat to Crystal Palace and will urge his side to play on the front-foot at home.
That should leave plenty of space for the visitors to exploit, which could mean goals. The Coral Bet of the Day is Manchester City to Win and Over 3.5 Goals at 21/10.
Hosts are foxes in the box
While City should claim victory, the hosts certainly have the ability to find the back of the net. Jamie Vardy has seven goals this season, while Demarai Gray and Riyad Mahrez have both been in good form of late.
The Foxes have found the back of the net in each of their last seven Carabao Cup matches. In-fact, they’ve only failed to score once in their last 38 games in this competition.
Toure to open his account
Yaya Toure has been used sparingly by Pep Guardiola last season. Four of his seven appearances for the Citizens have come in the Carabao Cup and Champions League.
This is a competition he usually enjoys. And with City likely to have the attacking impetus, it could be a good bet for the Ivorian to open his account for the season.
