Daily Acca Tips: Serena to continue comeback, Wigan to march on

A £5 stake could return over £162 if successful

Europe’s top football leagues might be on a temporary break for the international fixtures, but there’s still plenty of action to enjoy today.

The first round of the Miami Open gets underway, with some of the biggest names in tennis due to appear in the tournament.

There are also huge games in the lower leagues. The season’s entering its final stretch now. Every point matters at this stage.

Here are five potential winners for your acca from the Coral News Team

Serena Williams – 11/10

Serena Williams is unseeded for the Miami Open so she faces a potentially tricky opening tie against Naomi Osaka. Osaka won the Indian Wells last week, the first major honour of her career.

However, she’s up against arguably the best female tennis player of all time here. Serena’s had a full week of preparation since her Indian Wells elimination. Even if she’s not at her sharpest, her experience and ability should be too much for the 20-year-old.

Jared Donaldson – 4/5

Over in the men’s draw, the odds give Jared Donaldson the edge against Marcos Baghdatis.

These two have never faced each other before, but Donaldson is 11 years younger and 33 places higher in the ATP rankings.

Wigan Athletic – 7/10

Wigan’s FA Cup run ended on Saturday but they’re still looking good to win League One.

The Latics face travel to Walsall looking to continue their impressive away form. Paul Cook’s side have only lost once on the road in league action since September.

Wycombe Wanderers – 23/20

Wycombe are currently fourth in League Two. A win on their visit to Crawley Town would push them into third and solidify their promotion hopes.

They’ve not been at their best at home lately. It’s been a different story on their travels. Wycombe have won five of their last six away league games, drawing the other fixture.

Macclesfield Town – 27/20

Maidstone United ran out 4-1 winners when these two met in September, but it would be a real surprise if Macclesfield didn’t get the points this time.

The Silkmen are top of the National League and have won six of their last seven games. They’re also unbeaten in eight at home.
