Daily Acca Tips: Millwall, Brighton and Birmingham top our picks

A £5 stake could return over £120

From the Premier League down to League Two, there’s something riding on almost every game this weekend.

Whether it be a promotion tilt, a play-off push or relegation worries, there’s something for everyone in all four tiers this afternoon.

The Coral News Team  have consulted the form book ahead of the end of season run in and come up with five value picks from today’s 3pm fixtures…

Millwall – 11/10

Bristol City do not travel well. The Robins are winless in 11 matches away from home.

So a trip to The Den won’t be high on the list of things manager Lee Johnson is looking forward to this afternoon.

Millwall have lost just once since New Year’s Day and are without defeat at home since early November. They should extend that run this afternoon.

Brighton & Hove Albion – 17/20

Huddersfield Town are another side with severe travel sickness. The Terriers’ defeat to Newcastle United last week was their fifth in their last six away games.

They’ve not scored a single goal in those losses either.

Brighton, by contrast, are magnificent at home. Last week’s reverse to Leicester City was only their fourth of the season at the Amex Stadium.

The Seagulls are excellent on their own patch and should all but guarantee their survival today.

Birmingham City – 3/4

Garry Monk’s appointment as Birmingham City manager has gone down a treat. The Blues have won three in a row under the ex-Swansea City man and now look well placed to avoid relegation for another year.

Opponents Burton Albion are only heading one way and will have to do well to avoid a sixth defeat in nine matches at St Andrew’s.

Wigan Athletic – 1/3

MK Dons have picked up of late. But Wigan Athletic should still prove too strong against the Buckinghamshire boys.

The Latics are on the promotion trail and boast the third-best home record in League One. Against the relegation-threatened Dons, they’re expected to clean up at the DW Stadium.

Notts County – 17/10

A visit from Coventry City could be the perfect tonic for Kevin Nolan and Notts County. The Magpies are winless in four and require victory over the Sky Blues to reignite their faltering promotion charge.

The visitors are the ideal opponents to aid that task. City lost 2-6 at home to Yeovil Town last week. They’ve not won at Meadow Lane since 1963.

The hosts are a good price to extend that historical record this afternoon.
