Friday’s World Cup Qualifying acca pays over £100 from a £5 stake

Focusing on the latest UEFA games

The road to Russia continues tonight as another batch of European nations head into Matchday nine of the 2018 World Cup qualifiers.

The Coral News Team have picked out five selections from tonight’s 7.45pm fixtures.

With many sides heavily odds-on, tonight’s five-fold boasts a number of favourites alongside some slightly longer shots.

If all selections are successful, a £5 wager would return £103.55. All prices and returns correct at time of writing.

Croatia to beat Finland

Group I is the closest of all, with four sides split by just two points at the top.

Croatia lead the way, while Finland cannot now qualify or even reach the play-offs. With that in mind, a home win looms at 1/9 as Croatia seek to keep the chasing pack at bay.

Ireland to beat Moldova

Another solid odds-on shot as Ireland –1/9 – seek a vital three points at home to Moldova. This should be a comfortable night for Martin O’Neill’s men, especially with Moldova winless in a competitive away game since 2013.

Israel to beat Liechtenstein

A lack of alternative options means Israel are included here at 2/15. But that should be little to worry about.

They’ve collected six of their nine points on the road in this qualification phase, and should have enough in hand to produce another away win at a pointless Liechtenstein.

Austria to beat Serbia

Now onto the two selections which really bump up tonight’s acca.

Austria won all 10 games in qualifying for Euro 2016, but they’ve struggled since.

Nevertheless, they still boast quality players and maintain a slim shot at the play-offs. Knowing that only a win will do, Austria look overpriced at nearly 27/10, even though Serbia are unbeaten.

Iceland to beat Turkey

Mired in the fierce fight in Group I, both Turkey and Iceland can’t afford to lose this one. Turkey are hosts but sit two points below their northern visitors and can’t be backed with confidence at 10/11.

Iceland have shown before what they can achieve when in need of a result, and must be worth a shot at 3/1.
