Monday’s football and tennis acca pays £161 from a £5 stake

Fivefold includes games from Spain and Brazil

The sporting action continues on Monday, with a smattering of football across the globe and a couple of intriguing tennis ties in the ATP World Tour.

That’s the focus of Monday’s Coral acca, and success for this fivefold would turn a £5 stake into £161.13. Odds correct at time of writing.

Here are the selections, starting with a Brazilian Serie A clash…

Chapecoense to beat Santos

While Santos sit 15 points ahead of their hosts after 33 games, it’s Verdao who head into this Brazilian Serie A clash in the better form.

Chapecoense are unbeaten in their last five, beating Atletico Mineiro and Fluminense along the way. By contrast, the visitors have lost two of their last three games. And Santos have looked especially vulnerable on the road, winning one of their previous 11 on the road.

The Coral News Team like the look of Chapecoense to Win at 7/5.

Double Chance: Reus Deportiu or Draw (v. Cadiz)

Reus Deportiu head to Cadiz as underdogs in the betting ahead of Monday night’s Segunda Division clash. However, there’s reason to believe the visitors can take something from the game.

Cadiz are enduring a difficult run of form, having won just once in nine games since a bright start to the season. They’ve been especially poor at home. In fact, you have to go back to September 8 to find Cadiz’s last home win.

La Avellana Mecanica are in comparatively excellent form. They’ve taken eight points from the last five away games, including victory at Almeria. The Double Chance: Reus or Draw looks a solid addition at 5/6.

Set Betting: Rafael Nadal 2-0 David Goffin

It’s been quite the year for Rafa. The veteran Spaniard has reached three Grand Slam finals in 2017, winning the French Open and US Open. Having done all that, beating Goffin in Monday’s ATP Tour meeting should be straightforward.

The pair have met twice already this year, with Rafa winning both meetings in straight sets. With the 31-year-old showing no signs of losing momentum, more of the same looks likely. Set Betting: Nadal 2-0 looks good value at 8/11.

Dominic Thiem to beat Grigor Dimitrov

Talking of Head-to-Head victories this year, Thiem has won both of his two meetings against Grigor Dimitrov in 2017. The Austrian has been strong throughout the year, recording a Semi-Final berth at the French Open en route to securing his highest ever WTA ranking of number four last week.

Dimitrov is a tough opponent on paper, but hasn’t been at his best lately. The Bulgarian suffered a surprise Second Round exit at the US Open, losing to world number 37 Andrey Rublev. Thiem looks generously priced for victory at 13/8.

Vendsyssel v Thisted – Over 2.5 Goals

While the Danish national side will be focused on their crucial World Cup play-off against the Republic of Ireland, there’s a crucial Monday night game in the country’s second tier.

Both sides are chasing promotion, and in good form. Hosts Vendsyssel have won three of their last four games, including a 4-2 win at Esbjerg last time out. Meanwhile, visitors Thisted boast an impressive away record. They’ve won four of their last five on the road, but only managed one clean sheet in the process.

With these sides the league’s highest scorers, but neither brilliant in defence, the Coral News Team are tipping up a flurry of strikes. With each of the past three Head-to-Heads producing at least three goals, Over 2.5 Goals looks a solid addition at 8/13.
