Diego Costa to fire first for Chelsea v Foxes

Blues bad boy Costa has gone from Chelsea villain to hero, saving the Londoners’ skins with several winners (or point savers) so far this season.

At Stamford Bridge Chelsea will be expected to take this watershed game against Leicester City by the scruff of the neck – and if there’s one man who’ll get them firing it’s Costa.

As the last to open scoring at the Bridge and, with six goals from seven PL matches, Costa is incredible value at 10/3 to draw first blood.

Chelsea have already slain Leicester, a shadow of their former selves, in the League Cup this campaign. While, in his first ever fixture against the Foxes, formidable forward Costa bagged the first at the Bridge.

Back Benteke for the final say against West Ham

West Ham United are in trouble and couldn’t pick a worse time to face in-form Crystal Palace. Mired in the relegation zone and having leaked a shocking 17 goals in only seven league games, it is tough to see them taking much away from Selhurst Park.

In this intriguing London derby, the Eagles have the advantage – and have taken 10 points from the past 18 available in this fixture. The goals also usually flow, with eight last term, which is where revived Christian Benteke comes in.

Becoming increasingly crucial for Palace, the big Belgian poacher has had the final say in his side’s previous two outings, with his goals bagging vital points versus Everton and Sunderland. So, trust the target man to score last again at a fantastic 4/1.

Draw on the cards for Boro and Watford

Middlesbrough may have home advantage for their fray with Watford, but that hasn’t helped them sting the Hornets in the recent past.

With the past two encounters at the Riverside having ended evenly, punters can snatch odds of 11/5 for another splitting of spoils on Sunday.

Lending this price further weight, is the fact that neither the home team or visitors have been flying of late, both drawing their previous games.

Southampton to beat Burnley and under 2.5 goals

Saints have won their last three battles against Burnley when at St Mary’s, so will be confident of snatching all three points in front of their fans on the south coast.

Though Charlie Austin has proven a bigger threat this term, Southampton are far from prolific with a goal difference of plus one after notching only seven in as many Premier League games.

The Clarets, meanwhile, have a goal difference of minus four and boast only one victory in their last five. With all this in mind, Saints look real value at 11/5 to triumph and under 2.5 goals to be scored in the game.

Man Utd to defeat Liverpool and both score

Monday brings a majestic match-up, with the first Northwest derby of the season including the Reds and Red Devils.

Our selected bet from the outstanding Liverpool v Man Utd odds on offer is for Jose Mourinho’s men to win and both teams score at 19/4.

Form goes out of the window in games like these, as the old saying goes. Man Utd have edged fierce foes Liverpool in all of their previous four Premier League meetings, thriving on the hostile atmosphere.

However, with Sadio Mane, Philippe Coutinho and co enjoying Jurgen Klopp’s free-flowing football, plus Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Marcus Rashford in opposition ranks, both sides should get on the scoresheet.
