18/1 Saturday football accumulator

Five sides expected to boost your balance
Football punters are working harder than ever to get their fix of weekend accumulator action, with fixtures becoming increasingly light on the ground. Saturday gives us a shot at winning big however, with games going ahead in the U21 European Championships, as well as the Irish Premier League.
We‘ve run the rule over the value, and return with our Saturday five-fold which, if our thinking proves to be smart, will help line your pockets. Every £10 down returns £186.30, with prices correct at the time of writing. Let’s flick through the contenders.
Portugal U21 beat Serbia U21
This will be the first competitive meeting of these two sides in history, and we’re taking Portugal to mark the occasion with a win. Both go in on the back of some seriously impressive recent form, the selections on an unbeaten run, and Serbia losing just one of their last five, the spare coming against Holland. This promises to be an entertaining match-up, but we’re giving the nod to Portugal, who ran out 7-1 winners over Liechtenstein recently. 4/5 looks the perfect way to get us started.
Russia beat New Zealand
Moving onto the Confederations Cup, and Russia look nailed on to do the business vs New Zealand, certainly according to the betting, with our traders marking them up as 2/7 jollies. Another international first here, and it’s easy to side with the favourites, as they are looking rock-solid at the back and aiming to inject confidence into the ranks in plenty of time for their World Cup next year. In front of their own fans they’ll shine against modest opposition.
New York City beat Seattle
MLS is a real friend to the punter at this time of year, and we drop in again on Saturday. Having bagged a handy winner in the US Open Cup in midweek, we look to build on that by taking NYC to better Seattle. They got the desired result when last facing the Sounders, earning a 2-0 thanks to goals from Ronald Mataritta and Frank Lampard. Seattle were beaten 3-0 by Sporting KC recently, and we’re taking NYC to do us a turn at 10/11.
Getafe beat Huesca
Spanish Segunda Division, and Getafe were an obvious pick for us, but thankfully the traders don’t seem to agree, offering up an eye-catching 5/6. That looks just about as appealing as you can get from an odds-on shot. The teams battled out a 2-2 finish last time, but Getafe threw away a two-goal lead that day, scoring on 51 and 74, both goals from Jorge Molina, before letting it slip, conceding on 76 and 90. They’re the better side, and will be more professional this time.
Sligo beat Galway
Finishing up in Saturday’s main event from the Irish Premier League and a meeting of two of the division’s poorer sides. Sligo have found wins difficult to come by of late, but Galway have endured a terrible season so far, winning just two of their first 17. They look destined to spend the best part of the season down at the wrong end, and will finish lower in the final rankings than Sligo. 13/10 looks massive here, all things considered.
