Bundesliga: In-form Borussia Dortmund battle Bayer Leverkusen

Borussia Dortmund are, by contrast to last season, flying in the Bundesliga and are odds-on at 7/10 with Coral to beat fellow giants Bayer Leverkusen, who are certainly no pushovers.

Four wins from four this term has seen the Yellow Submarine surge to the top of the Bundesliga on 12 points, with a better goal difference than major rivals Bayern Munich, and look a formidable force under new boss Thomas Tuchel.

Against Hannover previously, Dortmund were ruthless 4-2 winners as prolific Gabon striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang bagged a brace and he has odds of 4/1 to equal or better that against Leverkusen.

They also came through their Europa League match unscathed, with a 2-1 win over Krasnodar, with Mathias Ginter who is relishing his new role change which has a more attacking emphasis, getting on the scoresheet and is 5/1 to follow up in the anytime market.

Armenian playmaker Henrikh Mkhitaryan is also having a sensational season and fits Tuchel’s system superbly, which gives him more time on the ball and has seen him develop an almost telepathic relationship with Aubameyang. Having been in free-scoring form, he is well priced at 13/10 to net anytime.

Leverkusen, meanwhile, have lost their last two Bundesliga fixtures, though found their Champions League match a welcome distraction as they ran out 4-1 winners over BATE Borisov, with Hakan Calhanoglu bagging a brace. The highly talented Turkish tormentor is 14/5 in the anytime market and is a genuinely credible threat from set-piece situations. He also struck the only goal in Leverkusen’s last Bundesliga win away against Hannover.

Mexican striker Javier Hernandez who arrived from Manchester United towards the end of the summer transfer window also struck in Europe last time out and is 9/1 to break the deadlock, while Admir Mehmedi who opened the scoring against the Belarus outfit is also 9/1 in this market against Dortmund.

Meanwhile, it was Karim Bellarabi and Stefan Kiessling who scored respectively last term as Leverkusen beat Dortmund 2-0 in this fixture and the duo are 10/1 and 8/1 to strike first.

Coral’s top tip: Ginter anytime scorer @ 5/1
