Tasty Thomas Muller next club odds
As rumours rumble that Bayern Munich could lose one of their biggest names, Coral have customers covered with generous Thomas Muller next club odds on offer. Having been accused of not fitting into Carlo Ancelotti’s system at the Allianz Arena, the Germany marksman is reportedly a target for other elite sides.
Goal menace Muller, a World Cup and Champions League winner, has seen his performances come under fire this campaign, as Bayern only narrowly kept ahead of RB Leipzig by the time winter break rolled around.
Whether he has been shunted wide in a 4-3-3, or is lurking behind frontman Robert Lewandowski in a 4-2-3-1 where a playmaker would be preferred, the 27-year-old has just not seemed to fit the Italian’s tactics.
And, Muller’s uncharacteristic return of just one goal in 13 Bundesliga games has led to further question marks over his future, with the forward also benched last time out.
“The last game against Leipzig was not optimal for me personally, since I did not play,” Muller told German press.
“There was more space than in the games before. It was a game I could have enjoyed.
“Of course, I’m not sitting there with a grin on the bench.”
So, Coral present a brilliant Muller betting market and the five most likely clubs he could switch to…
Manchester UnitedJoint favourites with cross-town rivals Manchester City, Man Utd are a 6/1 shout to swoop for Muller next.
Tabloids have long tipped the Red Devils to be the next destination for the sharpshooter, should he ever leave Munich.
With a winning mentality, attacking intent and big game prowess, the prolific German does fit the profile of a Red Devil and could be lethal at filling the space behind, or exchanging places with, Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Old Trafford would be a better fit than the Etihad and reuniting with former Bayern boss Pep Guardiola, unless Sergio Aguero was to be moved on to free up space.
ChelseaThe Blues could well enter the summer market as Premier League champions, so are 8/1 shots to land lethal predator Muller.
And, should Antonio Conte miss out on the likes of rumoured target Antoine Griezmann to Man Utd or PSG, Muller could make Chelsea fans’ summer as a marquee signing.
The FIFA 2010 World Cup Golden Boot winner would be an upgrade in Pedro Rodriguez’s roaming position behind Diego Costa, as part of a central attacking pair with Eden Hazard.
PSGAs rich kids PSG have found defending their Ligue 1 title rather tough so far this term, while also throwing the kitchen sink at Champions League progression, expect a summer splurge.
The Parisians already landed Muller’s compatriot Julian Draxler in the January transfer market and could conceivably seek to link the two Germans in support of Edinson Cavani.
If reportedly unsettled Angel Di Maria exits the French capital club as expected, there would certainly be space for another attacking superstar. PSG are also 8/1 to be Muller’s next club.
Real MadridIf one of Spain’s big two is to take a shine to Muller it would have to be Real Madrid, who rarely miss out on a chance to make a splash in the summer market.
With their transfer ban reportedly reduced, the reins on spending will be loosened sooner than expected. Cash could also come in the form of offloading James Rodriguez, though it is rare Real worry about the bills.
Alongside 2016 Ballon d’Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo and the Portuguese’s partner in crime Gareth Bale, with former Bayern clubmate Toni Kroos pulling the strings behind, Muller could be Madrid’s man as he guarantees goals.
With that in mind, Los Blancos are 8/1 to net Muller next.
Inter MilanFinally, if Muller is to be tempted by a club with recent investment, he may look to Italy instead of China.
Still a player that strikes as being full of ambition, a switch to a historically prominent side such as Inter could appeal, with the Nerazzurri rumoured to be ready to return to the top under the Suning Holdings Group’s majority ownership.
If they can afford to spend as big as believed and, with top marksman Mauro Icardi’s future at the San Siro uncertain, Inter are an intriguing 10/1 to snap up Muller.
