Champions League 2015/16 Group Stage draw

For the third season running, Arsenal will play Bayern Munich in the Champions League, while Chelsea, under the management of Jose Mourinho will face the side that the Portuguese coach first won the Champions League with; Porto, with the Champions League groups for 2015/16 now decided.

The Gunners, who have never won the competition, also take on Greek outfit Olympiakos and Dinamo Zagreb, while the Blues have games against Ukrainian champions Dynamo Kiev and Israeli side Maccabi Tel Aviv.

Last season’s winners, Barcelona, in what could well be a tricky group face games against Bayer Leverkusen, Roma and BATE Borisov. Luis Enrique who won the treble with Barca in his first season, will look to do what Pep Guardiola couldn’t and retain it. This feat has never been achieved in the modern version of the competition, which was previously known as the European Cup.

Manchester City, who have started the season strongly face Juventus, Sevilla and Borussia Monchengladbach, while Manchester United, on their return to the competition will take on PSV Eindhoven, CSKA Moscow and German giants Wolfsburg.

New Red Devils signing, Memphis Depay, who struck twice in United’s first leg play-off against Club Brugge, faces his former club PSV, in what should make two interesting fixtures.

Rafa Benitez, who has won the competition with Liverpool will prepare his new Real Madrid squad for matches against PSG, Shakhtar Donestk and Scandinavian side Malmo.
