Bale and Eto’o combine for superb Coral scoring double special

Coral offer a special Champions League anytime scoring double on Gareth Bale and Samuel Eto’o. Odds of 5/1 say both Real Madrid’s Wales whizz and the experienced Chelsea striker will find the net against Schalke and Galatasaray respectively.

Two of our last three anytime scoring doubles have come off, so punters can make a pretty penny if they take this hugely attractive price. If you need convincing further, here are some other reasons why this is such a great bet.

Former Tottenham star Bale, 24, scored a 30-yard screamer in Real’s last outing against Elche. He has two in his last three La Liga matches and boasts the same record in the Champions League.

Stiff competition for his place from Bernabeu academy product Jese Rodriguez has spurred Bale on in his debut season in Spain after some initial injury struggles. He has outscored and made twice as many assists as the youngster in all competitions, having played a game less.

Madrid have recorded five straight victories in league and cup coming into their Champions League trip to Gelsenkirchen. Carlo Ancelotti’s team are odds-on at 4/9 for victory at Schalke and 1/10 to qualify for the quarter-finals.

Cameroon striker Eto’o travels with Chelsea to Turkey with 10 Champions League goals in his last 15 outings in the competition. He has gone all the way and lifted the European Cup three times in his career – twice with Barcelona and once with Inter Milan under current Blues boss Jose Mourinho.

As if motivation were needed for playing in Europe’s elite club competition, ‘The Special One’ was recently recorded saying he had no strikers at Stamford Bridge in a private conversation. Mourinho also questioned the age of Eto’o, so back him to make his manager eat his words by scoring in Istanbul.

A Premier League presence in the last eight is looking increasingly doubtful as Manchester United, Manchester City and Arsenal all lost their first legs. Back Mourinho’s men to buck that trend at 2/9 to qualify for the Champions League quarters.

Chelsea are an industry leading price with Coral at 21/20 to win their first leg. We also offer a best bet on Eto’o scoring first here at 11/2.
