Ronaldo and Ibrahimovic are delightful scoring double with Coral

Both players have no trouble scoring anywhere near the opposition area. Boot, knee, head, chest, acrobatically, stationary, and even poetically.

These are two strikers at the very top of their game for two clubs that have a glittering domestic trophy cupboard from recent years, though are yet to interpret Europe.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s Real Madrid, who are 3/1 to win the competition, take on 2013s runners-up Borussia Dortmund in their first leg quarter-final. This will be a repeat of the semi-final from last year, however Ronaldo was somewhat overshadowed. Then, it was the Robert Lewandowski show.

Although the Spaniards won 2-0 at the Bernabeu in the second leg, they were undone in Dortmund after succumbing 4-1. Lewandowski hit all four – he is suspended this time out.

Ronaldo, though, will be keen to remind everyone just why he won the Ballon d’Or, and avenge his team’s defeat last term. He is currently the top scorer in the competition with 13 in seven appearances this year, and surrounded with quality consisting of Gareth Bale, Angel di Maria, and Karim Benzema, there is always a chance of extending his lead.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s PSG take on Chelsea who are 16/5 to come away with a win.

Fittingly for this bet perhaps, the Swede is just behind Ronaldo in the Champions League scoring charts, and has 10 to his name, also in seven showings.

He will be watched closely by John Terry, who will be assigned the task of keeping him quiet, by the competition’s past-master Jose Mourinho.

It is considered by many a shame that Ibrahimovic will miss out on the World Cup in the summer, with Sweden failing to get past Portugal in a play-off, so it is unlikely he will want to exit another elite tournament early.

At 5/2, this is an enticing bet, and either talisman only needs any body part in the right place, at the right time.
