Back Rooney and Lewandowski in Coral goalscorer double special

Back Manchester United’s Wayne Rooney and Robert Lewandowski of Borussia Dortmund both to score in their respective Champions League second leg last 16 home games, against Olympiakos and Zenit St Petersberg at 11/4.

Both star strikers go into their matches in differing circumstances, with United two goals behind, while Dortmund managed to beat their opponents 4-2 on the road.

Although the Red Devils (40/1 chances to win the European competition) are having a miserable season, David Moyes will put out as strong side as possible to overturn the first leg 2-0. Rooney will more than likely lead the line with Robin van Persie.

The England star has scored 13 goals in 32 matches in all competitions this term, including two in his last three in the league, and can be backed at evens to net anytime or 5/1 to bag a brace or more.

United are priced at 15/8 to qualify to the quarters, but are odds-on to win the match in 90 minutes at 1/2.

Dortmund’s Lewandowski, who will join Bundesliga rivals Bayern Munich in the summer on a free transfer, has not let his forthcoming move to the Champions League holders affect his performances this season.

The 25-year-old Poland international has managed an impressive 22 goals in 35 matches in all competitions so far in what is his final term for his club. With four in his last five in the league and 11 in his previous 11 Champions League games, he is a man in top form.

Lewandowski has six goals from seven matches in Europe’s elite competition this campaign, and fourth favourite to finish end up with the Golden Boot at 16/1. He can also be backed at 8/13 in the anytime scorer market or 5/2 to net two or more against Zenit.

Champions League finalists last season, Dortmund have odds of 14/1 to go one better this year and win the title. Their price of 1/100 to qualify for the quarters suggest only a miracle will prevent them from going through to the next stage. They are also odds-on at 4/11 to win the match in 90 minutes.
