Norwich, Watford, Derby delicious value in 5/1 Championship treble

Fancy a flutter this midweek, but not convinced by English top-flight teams’ Champions League credentials? Coral have the very bet for you, with enhanced odds of 5/1 available on wins for three of the Championship’s top six sides Norwich City, Watford and Derby County.

The Canaries take on Charlton Athletic, the Hornets battle Brentford and Steve McClaren’s Rams face Bournemouth. All are at home and each featured side start as odds-on favourites for three points.

Here are some other reasons why you should pile money on this boosted price bet.

Norwich v Charlton
East Anglia outfit Norwich are unbeaten at home against the Addicks since 2000. Neil Adams’ team top the Championship table, and are therefore odds-on 8/15 favourites for victory at Carrow Road. Canaries summer signing Cameron Jerome bagged a brace on his last home outing, and is 4/1 to score two or more goals here.

Watford v Brentford
The Bees last bested the Hornets way back in 1977; they have seldom occupied the same division since. Watford, who are fourth and under new management, are odds-on at 19/20 to beat the Londoners here.

Czech Republic forward Matej Vydra scored first in the Hertfordshire side’s last outing, and is 5/1 to net the opener again here. He can rely on support from the likes of Scotland international Ikechi Anya and Italian forward Fernando Forestieri, with the former a 10/3 chance in the anytime market.

Derby v Bournemouth
McClaren’s men did the double over the Cherries last term, winning 1-0 home and away. That is why County are odds-on 19/20 favourites for victory again, and 9/1 by that exact scoreline once more. Chris Martin, Derby’s leading marksman from 2013/14, has continued where he left off and bagged a brace in their previous outing.

Back Scotland striker Martin for two or more again at 4/1. Northern Ireland forward Jamie Ward has also been in fine form this season, and is 5/4 to net anytime against Bournemouth.
