Preston North End v Sheffield Wednesday – Away win

With the Owl’s currently flying high in fifth, six spots above hosts Preston, and undefeated in the Championship since December, South Yorkshiremen Wednesday should steal the spoils.

Watford v Leeds United- Home win

The Hornets have home advantage, which should see Watford provide the sting needed to sink second-tier team Leeds in the FA Cup, without too much fuss.

Bolton Wanderers v QPR – Draw

The Hoops are stumbling again, while Bolton are still rock bottom of the Championship. Yet, the Trotters have been goal hungry of late and could force this encounter to end evenly.

Brentford v Derby County – Away win

A managerial switch has not helped the Rams so far, but similarly stuttering Brentford could prove the perfect opposition, after Derby dispatched the Bees 2-0 earlier this term.

Huddersfield Town v Wolverhampton Wanderers – Draw

Hosts Huddersfield ended a winless streak last time out so could provide sterner competition, while Wolves have now gone five without, with three of those fixtures draws.

Celtic v Inverness CT – Home win

Home side Celtic have already smashed seven past Inverness this season and can increase their lead at the league summit here.

Dundee United v Hearts – Away win

The Terrors are having a terrible time of it, as they sit bottom of the Scottish Premiership, and will have a tough task to take any points from third placed Hearts.

Bournemouth v Everton – Away win

The Toffees have been taking the FA Cup seriously, while Bournemouth are just four points from the Premier League drop zone, so may have other matters in mind. Meaning, the Cherries could face a squeeze from attack-minded Everton.

Inter Milan v Sampdoria – Home win

Samp are sketchy on the road, with just two Serie A away wins all term. While, Inter are strong at home, with only three San Siro losses this season.

Bayer Leverkusen v Borussia Dortmund – Away win

Dortmund have not lost since December, with terrific trio Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Marco Reus and Henrikh Mkhitaryan all in rampant form recently. They should prove too much for Leverkusen to handle.

Tottenham v Crystal Palace – Home win

There seems to be no stopping youthful and exuberant Spurs of late, especially at White Hart Lane, while Palace just can’t seem to put a run of good results together.

Chelsea v Manchester City – Away win

Man City have been on the rocks recently, but the even more inconsistent Blues could be the ones to pay the price for that, with Sergio Aguero firing on all cylinders.

Queen of the South v Rangers – Away win

Rangers are another club undefeated since December, with 10 games without a loss since. The Doonhamers don’t look like the team to halt that after three loses in their last six across all competitions.

Atletico Madrid v Villarreal – Home win

Atleti are back on track, and at home where they have been beaten just three times, so look good to squeeze past the Yellow Submarine, who have distractions midweek.

Shrewsbury Town v Manchester United – Away win

League One Shrewsbury should not pose the Red Devils too many problems, especially after winning only one of their previous six home scuffles.
