Daily Acca Tips: Man City and Sporting feature in Monday’s matches

A £10 wager on tonight’s matches could return over £70 if successful

This week gets underway with a smattering of action from across four of Europe’s top leagues.

In the Premier League, Manchester City travel to Stoke City, while Werder Bremen host Koln in a relegation six-pointer in the Bundesliga.

The Coral News Team have got selections for those games (and two more), in tonight’s acca tips…

Manchester City – 2/9

Stoke City do not fare well against the top-six. The Potters have lost six of their eight matches against the big boys, conceding 30 goals in the process.

That should be confidence enough to back Manchester City this evening. Pep Guardiola’s men put seven past the Staffordshire club in October and have won their last three matches in the Premier League.

Werder Bremen – 4/5

It hasn’t been a good season for Werder Bremen or Koln. Both clubs languish near the bottom of the Bundesliga table after disappointing campaigns.

However, Die Werderaner have shown some fight of late. Bremen are unbeaten in eight at home and have won their last two at Weserstadion. Both of those victories have come against sides in and around them in the table. They should make that three in a row against the division’s bottom team.

Sporting Lisbon – 4/7

Sporting Lisbon have a good recent record against Chaves. Leoes have won twice and scored nine goals in their last two meetings with the Primeira Liga minnows.

They also boast the division’s third-best away record and have won five of their last seven matches in all competitions.

Alaves – 23/20

Alaves are formidable at home. The 2001 UEFA Cup Finalists have won their last three matches at Mendizorrortza. They’re unbeaten on home turf since a November defeat to Eibar.

That spells bad news for tonight’s visitors Real Betis. The Seville-based club are winless in two and have lost four of their last six fixtures against the home side.
