Dundee United, Monaco and Schalke in Friday home win treble

Dundee United host Motherwell in battle for Europa League place, while Monaco and Schalke face Reims and Mainz respectively at home in Friday’s 7/2 enhanced multiple treble.

Dundee United v Motherwell
Odds-on Dundee United (17/20) host Motherwell at the Tannadice in a crunch Scottish Premiership match-up as both sides fight to play in Europe next season.

Motherwell go into this fixture nine points and one place ahead with a game in hand over their rivals, but with Stuart McCall’s side without up to eight players and United winning the last fixture 4-0, it will give them every bit of confidence to close the gap.

In-demand attacking midfielder Ryan Gauld scored two that day and you can back him at 18/1 to bag another brace or more or 5/2 to net anytime. The 18-year-old Scot has managed five goals and seven assists in 22 league games this season.

Despite the last 10 matches between the two sides incredibly not resulting in a home victory, United winger Gary Mackay-Steven will be looking to add to his tally of seven league goals so far with another – after netting in his previous match. Back him at 2/1 to score anytime.

Monaco v Reims
Newly-promoted title-chasing Monaco have not beaten Reims in recent history, but don’t let that deter you. 14 points separate the two in Ligue 1, and with the former up in second place and losing just twice in the league so far, don’t looks past Les Rouge et Blanc.

Key man Radamel Falcao and new signing Dimitar Berbatov are out, but Emmanuel Riviere has ably stepped in to score nine in 21 games this season so far. Back the 23-year-old odds-on at 10/11 to score anytime.

Falcao’s fellow Colombian James Rodriguez is also in fine form this season, scoring five in 23 games mainly from an attacking midfield position, and has odds off 5/4 to net anytime.

Schalke v Mainz
Champions League-chasing Schalke entertain Mainz in this Bundesliga showdown. The former are fourth in the league and odds-on at 8/11 to beat their seventh-placed visitors.

September’s reverse fixture saw Schalke grab a 1-0 victory to extend their run of just one loss in six against their opponents.

The Gelsenkirchen club have won their last five home league games and have in-form Peruvian Jefferson Farfan amongst their ranks. The winger is the club’s top Bundesliga scorer this season netting eight times in 16 games. His seven goals in his last nine matches in all competitions suggest he is a decent bet at 11/8 to add to his tally at anytime.

Hot property Julian Draxler has not reached the heights of last season, getting just one goal in 15, but with top clubs watching his every move he will be looking to improve. Coral have put him down at 15/8 to score anytime.

Mainz’s Japanese striker Shinji Okazaki leads the club’s league goal charts with nine, and you can back him at 15/8 in Coral’s score at anytime market.
