New customers get tantalising 2/1 on Man City winning Capital One Cup
Ahead of the first final of the season, Coral welcome new customers with crazy odds of 2/1 on Manchester City lifting the Capital One Cup by beating Sunderland at Wembley in the March 2nd showpiece.
Manuel Pellegrini’s team start favourites to win their first silverware of the season as the Chilean targets a potential quadruple. Punters can get odds of 200/1 on City winning four trophies this season.
Sunderland have been their bogey team of recent times, winning the last four battles at the Stadium of Light 1-0.
It’s been different at the Etihad, however, with City earning 3-0 and 5-0 victories in two of the last three meetings there.
Goals are expected from Spanish striker Alvaro Negredo, who hit a hat-trick and bagged a brace in respective semi-final legs against West Ham. Back him at 3/1 to score two or more here.
Serbian wingback Aleksandar Kolarov may be a surprise source to find the net against the Black Cats as he has two in the last three encounters. He is 6/1 to score anytime in 90 minutes.
Pellegrini will make a decision on whether City top-scorer Sergio Aguero will feature in the final the day before. If included, the lethal Argentine is a 3/1 shot to score first at Wembley.
Eastern European pair Stevan Jovetic and Matija Nastasic are definitely missing through injury, however. Joleon Lescott has played every minute of City’s cup run at centre back, so is likely to partner club captain Vincent Kompany in the final instead.
Holding midfielder Javi Garcia, a fringe player in the Premier League, has also featured in every tie in this competition, so looks set to line up in the engine room alongside Ivorian powerhouse Yaya Toure.
City have a couple of names looking to right past wrongs in the League Cup too. James Milner and Samir Nasri were beaten finalists in 2010 and 2011 with Aston Villa and Arsenal respectively. Back Milner at 6/1 and Nasri at 9/4 for goals anytime.
