Yorkshire/Lancashire Capital One Cup Coral specials at 4/1

Whether or not you have an allegiance to the east or west side of the Pennines, take advantage of Coral’s fantastic odds of 4/1 in both Yorkshire and Lancashire Capital One Cup first round trebles, against fellow northern outfits.

Representing the right side of the country, White Rose clubs Leeds United, Barnsley and Sheffield Wednesday can be backed in one special all to win in 90 minutes, while Blackburn Rovers, Bolton Wanderers and Wigan Athletic make up the other bet.

Yorkshire treble – 4/1

There’s no place like home, and Yorkshire trio Leeds, Barnsley and Wednesday all host inferior opposition Accrington Stanley, Crewe Alexandra and Notts County respectively in the Capital One Cup first round.

Leeds United v Accrington Stanley
Both sides lost their opening league games this season, but this should be plain sailing for the Whites on their home ground against their lesser lower league Lancashire opponents Accrington, who are two division below Leeds.

Head coach Dave Hockaday’s side go into this match as odds-on 8/15 favourites to win in 90 minutes, and have a whole host of new talent to showcase at Elland Road.

Barnsley v Crewe Alexandra
These two League One clubs also lost their opening day of the season matches, but it is the Tykes who go into this encounter as 10/11 odds-on favourites against Cheshire side Crewe, who must travel through the southern Pennines to reach the Oakwell battleground.

Sheffield Wednesday v Notts County
Championship side Sheffield Wednesday play host to League One’s Notts County in the last match of the Yorkshire treble. The Owls recently beat Brighton away, and are 4/6 for victory over County as well.

Lancashire treble – 4/1

Blackburn Rovers v Scunthorpe United
Blackburn are decent promotion chances this term at 5/1, and face League One side Scunthorpe in the Capital One Cup odds-on favourites at 4/7 for victory. Back star Scotland striker Jordan Rhodes to score two or more at 4/1.

Bolton Wanderers v Bury
While less than six miles separates these two sides on the map, they are two divisions apart, and Championship club Bolton 4/7 shots to beat League Two no-hopers Bury in normal time.

Burton Albion v Wigan Athletic
Stylish second-tier side Wigan take on League Two outfit Burton for a place in the Capital One Cup second round. The Latics are odds-on at 17/20 to see off their opponents in 90 minutes.
