Pile on England to beat Norway with odds of 3/1

Coral are offering outstanding odds of 3/1 for England to beat Norway with a maximum bet of £10 (new players only). A new-look England side will take on Norway in a friendly as Roy Hodgson looks to get an understanding of his best team before Euro 2016 qualifiers start.

Following the retirement of senior internationals Steven Gerrard and Frank Lampard, not to mention the former being the captain, Hodgson will get a chance to see what the likes of Fabian Delph and Jack Colback can do in an England shirt. Colback has been labelled as “the ginger Pirlo” by Hodgson.

Wayne Rooney, as the new skipper is likely to start in attack, though the other striking options include Daniel Sturridge, Danny Welback and Rickie Lambert. There could also be first caps for Tottenham left back Danny Rose, while Arsenal’s Calum Chambers also gets the call, following his move from Southampton in the summer.

Having been selected in the World Cup squad, Everton centre back John Stones could start alongside Manchester United’s Phil Jones, as Hodgson looks to blood a new defensive pairing in the middle of the park. However, he may opt for Chelsea’s Gary Cahil, who has been a consistent performer so far this season, and will be vital for the Three Lions’ qualifying campaign.

There is more than enough ammunition within the squad to beat Norway, and with Raheem Sterling also selected in the squad, Liverpool’s prodigy could blaze trails across the Wembley turf, after an explosive start to the new Premier League campaign.

Sterling has netted twice already this term, and could start on the right hand side of an attacking trio that includes Sturridge and Rooney. With Jordan Henderson behind in midfield, Sturridge and Sterling are set to resume their fine relationship that has blossomed for Liverpool in what has been a great start to the new campaign.
