Barnsley, Rochdale and Yeovil a fantastic 4/1 FA Cup replay treble
Places are up for grabs in the FA Cup third round and the most romantic weekend of the football calendar. That means there’s money to be made, and Coral can oblige with enhanced odds of 4/1 on a trio of League One teams, Barnsley, Rochdale and Yeovil Town winning their round two replays in 90 minutes against lesser opposition.
Each of these featured sides are individual odds-on favourites to win in 90 minutes. The Tykes tackle reformed Chester, Dale do battle with Aldershot, who have not long lost their Football League status, and the Glovers face Accrington Stanley. Here’s why this is a great midweek bet.
Chester v Barnsley
Danny Wilson can be confident going into this away game, as the Tykes won on their last FA Cup visit to Cheshire. Barnsley are odds-on 10/11 favourites to win this replay in 90 minutes. Defender Lewin Nyatanga has proven to be a set piece threat for the South Yorkshire side in recent outings, and is a tasty 15/2 chance to score for the third time in four matches here.
Rochdale v Aldershot
As Dale occupy a play-off place in League One and the Shots are in mid-table mediocrity in the Conference, the hosts are made odds-on 1/2 favourites for victory in 90 minutes.
Matt Done and Ian Henderson have formed a prolific 18-goal partnership in the third tier, and this is surely more than Aldershot’s defence can handle. Back Henderson, fresh from scoring against old club Colchester United, at 11/10 in the anytime market.
Yeovil v Accrington
The Glovers are from a division higher than Stanley, so are odds-on 8/11 favourites to beat them in 90 minutes. Jordan Clarke has three in his last four for Yeovil, which means he is well worth backing to get among the goals again here as a 6/1 shot. Striker James Hayter, formerly of Doncaster Rovers, is a safer bet in the anytime market at 17/10.
