Juventus can add Coppa Italia to trophy haul and leave Lazio in dust
It is difficult to look past jubilant Juventus, 21/20 favourites for victory with Coral over 90 minutes, claiming the Coppa Italia trophy in a star-studded final against Lazio, as the Turin giants eye a terrific treble.
Having already swept all before them in Serie A, and with a Champions League final battle against Barcelona in Berlin set for the end of the season, Juve won’t want to put a foot wrong here and spoil a potentially perfect campaign.
The Old Lady have not lost to Lazio in their last six duels across all competitions, and also did a league double over Serie A’s surprise package this season as they stormed to the Scudetto.
To celebrate this cracking Coppa clash between these revived Italian giants, Coral are offering two stupendous match specials for punters to pick from, featuring some of Italian footballs most prolific forwards.
Tenacious Carlos Tevez has hit a heroic 20 Serie A strikes this term, with his goals propelling Juve to potentially unscaled heights. Back the excellent Argentine, who has a rampant recent record of three in his last four against Lazio, in this sensational special at superb odds of 7/2 to score and Juventus to win in 90 minutes (maximum stake £20).
Alternatively, take a chance on legendary and lethal Poland-born former Germany poacher Miroslav Klose, who is available at 6/1 to net with Lazio to triumph, in another decadent deal also with a maximum stake of £20.
Despite the Old Lady’s superior firepower, featuring Basque marksman Fernando Llorente (who is a 6/1 chance to strike the final blow) and midfield threat Paul Pogba (2/1 in the anytime market after bagging a brace against the Eagles earlier this campaign), the exciting Eternal City outfit are more than capable of pulling off a shock.
The Romans will be determined to put a spanner in the works, and are a decent shout at 12/5 to draw in normal time, having navigated their way through a recent choppy patch to put Sampdoria to the sword last time out.
Top prospect Felipe Anderson has been attracting attention with his game-changing efforts and, having racked up 11 goals and 10 assists across all competitions, is an excellent 11/4 shout to put his name up in lights anytime, or an excellent 8/1 to draw first blood.
As alternative attacking tips for the Eagles, the experienced duo of skipper Stefano Mauri and adaptable Antonio Candreva, who have netted a respectable nine Serie A goals each, are also respective 10/3 and 11/4 prices in the anytime market.
Lazio still have a lot to learn, having emerged as somewhat surprising contenders for second spot in Serie A, while Juve are a well-oiled machine, happily adjusting their tactics to suit the opposition, and are old hands at preparing for big games.
As the Eagles have crumbled at times this term, failing to claim scalps against the likes of Juventus, Roma and Inter Milan, back the Old Lady at a tempting 27/10 to win to nil.
