La Liga race ramps up as Barca and Real battle Royals and Bats

In the latest round of La Liga clashes, league leaders Barcelona (odds-on at 2/7 with Coral to claim the crown) and El Clasico rivals Real Madrid (11/4) continue their tight race for the title with respective duels against Real Sociedad and Valencia.

Spanish football is not suspended for this matchweek, so customers can still take advantage of Coral’s excellent odds, while awaiting news of future fixtures.

Barcelona v Real Sociedad

Barca’s early evening kick-off at the Nou Camp comes against David Moyes’ men, and the Catalan kings are odds-on at 1/12 to take all three points after demolishing German giants Bayern Munich last time out.

Luis Enrique’s side are unbeaten in their last 17 outings across all competitions, having won 16 and drawn one, which is a formidable record by any standards. Having racked up an incredible 16 strikes over their past three La Liga games too, Barca are also available to back at 7/4 to hit five or more and put Sociedad to the sword.

For their part, the Royals have been far from just cannon fodder against the Nou Camp club in recent meetings, proving somewhat of a thorn in their hosts’ side, beating the superstar-stocked team in three of their last four league meetings.

Those three victories all arrived at the Anoeta, however, and the Basque Country club have not fared as well against Barca on Catalan soil, having conceded four on their last league visit to the Nou Camp.

Lionel Messi was in scintillating form against Munich, and has hit nine career goals in 12 appearances against Sociedad, so is terrific value at 2/1 to bag a brace or better. Neymar netted the closing goal last time out and is 7/2 to have the final say again, while lethal Luis Suarez has struck five times in his past three outings and is 16/5 to grab the first.

Moyes’ boys, meanwhile, are 9/1 to sneak a draw, or 25/1 to pull-off a shock victory, though have not won any of their last four away days. Mexico menace Carlos Vela is a 7/2 shout in the anytime market, while Iceland hitman Alfred Finnbogason is 18/1 to poach the opener.

Real Madrid v Valencia

Despite a tough midweek trip to Turin, Real are still odds-on favourites at 1/3 to take all three points as they chase Barca’s tails.

Rampant Cristiano Ronaldo grabbed a vital goal In Italy and also struck at the Mestalla, so is a fantastic 14/5 to fire home first, while Manchester United-owned marksman Javier Hernandez is 6/5 to be on target anytime, with crafty Colombian James Rodriguez 7/4 in the same market.

Los Blancos may have suffered a rare transfer blow to their opponents, as visiting Valencia have announced apparent Madrid target and left back Jose Luis Gaya has penned a new contract with Los Che.

The Bats have already beaten Los Blancos this campaign and are a fantastic price at 13/2 to make it a double, or 9/2 to snatch a draw after doing so at the Bernabeu last term.

Brilliant Bats attackers Paco Alcacer, Sofiane Feghouli and Alvaro Negredo, are respective shots of 17/2, 14/1 and 12/5 to strike first, last and anytime.
