Monday quiz – Easter weekend results
Frank Monkhouse | 17 April 2017
How closely were you following the action?
Few would have guessed it a couple of weeks ago, but Chelsea aren’t exactly the champions in-waiting we thought that they were. The Blues were beaten 2-0 by Man Utd at Old Trafford on Sunday, meaning Spurs sit just four points off the pace.
That was probably the biggest talking point of the Easter weekend results, but it was not the only thing that got sports fans chatting. We barely have time to draw breath before getting stuck into a brand-new week, with the Champions League quarter-final second-leg ties going on Tuesday and Wednesday, before United target progression in the Europa League on Thursday.
Before all that however we take a step back and let things sink in. With a four-day working week ahead, we want to nick a breather while we can. Alongside our friends at Sporcle, we have set you our usual Monday quiz. 10 questions, five minutes, all based on the weekend sports results. Most of these are little more than a day or two old, so should still be fresh in your mind, and we don’t reckon this week’s will stretch you too much. Take the test below…..
Not too bad, surely? Did you score a full-house, or were you too busy tucking in to those chocolate eggs to get over the line in front? We’d love you to share your score with us in the comments section at the bottom of this page.
We’re also taking requests for the theme of future Monday quizzes. We’ve covered the likes of the Grand National, Cheltenham, Scottish football grounds and plenty more. Drop your ideas in a message below and we’ll be sure to act. Feel free to share this quiz with fellow sports fans, and prove you know your stuff.
