Negredo, Suarez and Ronaldo to enjoy home comforts on the road

If Manchester City, Liverpool and Real Madrid were all playing at home in the next batch of European football league fixtures, then the price on Alvaro Negredo, Luis Suarez and Cristiano Ronaldo all getting on the scoresheet would likely be close to odds-on.

After all, Negredo has netted 15 goals in his last 12 Man City fixtures at the Etihad in all competitions, Suarez betters this with 15 in his last eight appearances at Anfield and Ronaldo has scored 13 times in seven Real Madrid outings at the Bernabeu.

All three are on the road next, where their strike rate is not so impressive, but 4/1 remains an enticing price that the threesome all score in their respective 90 minutes.

Man City travel to Newcastle next and Negredo was on target in the Capital One Cup success at St James’ Park back in October.

Furthermore, Man City have scored in each of their last seven visits to Newcastle, netting at least twice in all of the last six. With Sergio Aguero still injured, Negredo is certain to lead the line again.

Stoke has not been a happy hunting ground for Liverpool in recent seasons as they are still awaiting their first Premier League victory at the Britannia Stadium.

However, Suarez has scored twice across his three career visits and he is definitely due a goal, having only managed to find the net once in four fixtures, which is his biggest barren run of the season.

As for Ronaldo, he has been on target in 10 of Real Madrid’s last 12 fixtures home and away, with 18 goals scored in total in this period.

Espanyol have conceded at least twice in their last three La Liga home games too and this defensive deficiency is likely to be capitalised on by the Portuguese forward.
