Aguero and Suarez big-price double to score this weekend
Luis Suarez’ record this season cannot be criticised, with 13 goals in his nine Premier League appearances for Liverpool. He has also just celebrated his first four-goal haul for the club when destroying Norwich last time for the third time in four outings against the Canaries.
Although slightly overshadowed by Suarez’ exploits, Sergio Aguero’s record in normal circumstances would be tough to better, as he has netted 17 times in 18 games for Manchester City this season in all competitions.
He has three in his last three Premier League games and 10 in his last nine in the top-flight.
Therefore, the pair will be heavily fancied to add to their respective tallies in their next round of Premier League fixtures, with Coral offering 5/2 that both find the target.
Suarez is at home to West Ham next, opposition he is yet to score against in two previous meetings.
However, Liverpool have scored 16 goals across their last four home games and Suarez has been responsible for 10 of these.
Given that West Ham have conceded seven across their last four and have never won at Anfield in the Premier League, there is certainly enough reason to believe that Suarez will be troubling the scorers again.
Aguero’s prospects of scoring are a bit tougher, with Man City travelling to Southampton. But the Saints are in a spot of freefall of late with four defeats in five in all competitions and eight goals conceded in their last three.
Southampton’s defensive issues are also compounded by the absence of Nathaniel Clyne, alongside first-choice goalkeeper Artur Boruc, while Jose Fonte will require a late fitness test.
Man City are not exactly prolific scorers on the road, but Aguero does have four goals in as many away fixtures.
But, like Suarez, Aguero failed to hit the target in both league meetings with Southampton last season.
