Eden Hazard (at 1-3) and Thibaut Courtois (4-6) are odds-on to join Real Madrid this summer as Chelsea prepare themselves for bids for their two Belgian stars.
The pair have long been the subject of interest from the La Liga giants, and following the sale of Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus, a move could be on.
And the bad news doesn’t end there for Blues fans. Midfielder Willian could also be set to swap West London for the Spanish sun with a possible move to Barcelona still on. The Catalan club have reportedly returned with an improved bid for the Brazil playmaker, prompting the Coral traders to cut the odds of a move taking place to just even-money.
“It’s looking like a tough transfer window for Chelsea with a number of clubs lining up offers for their stars. With no Champions League football this year they could struggle in the negotiations and we make it odds-on that Hazard and Courtois join Real Madrid this summer,” said Coral’s Harry Aitkenhead.
Should their worst fears be realised and an exodus does happen, it is highly likely that the Blues will re-enter the market. And Coral make Robert Lewandowski (7-2 to sign), Anthony Martial (9-2), Jack Butland (6-1) and James Tarkowski (8-1) some of their most likely targets.
“We think that Lewandowski is Chelsea’s main target this window, and with odds of 7-2 we give them every chance of pulling off the deal.”
“It’s also looking like they might opt to go for Jack Butland to replace Courtois, and with Liverpool potentially sticking with Karius as their number one there’s a strong chance Butland could choose to move to the Bridge,” added Aitkenhead.
