Coral’s Rumour Reel: Man Utd seek sensational swoop for former star?

Louis van Gaal wants to continue his Manchester United spending spree by recapturing former Old Trafford hero Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid, with the Red Devils incredibly upping their attempts to secure the Premier League title (5/1 with Coral to win).

There have been recent signs that the Portuguese superstar’s relationship with new Los Blancos coach Rafael Benitez is a rocky one, having been pictured criticising the former Liverpool boss in training.

Despite the talk of trying to resign Ronaldo, United are also close to agreeing a deal for Barcelona forward Pedro, with the Spain international set to cost Van Gaal up to £22m.
