Coral’s Tottenham and Manchester City combined XI

In perhaps the clash of the Premier League weekend, in terms of position, Tottenham (14/5 for victory with Coral) play host to Manchester City (even-money favourites).

So, ahead of the encounter, that could be crucial in Spurs’ attempt to qualify for a Europa League place and the Citizens to gain an automatic Champions League group stage spot, we provide a combined XI from both teams.

Goalkeeper: Hugo Lloris (Tottenham)
The France captain has produced a number of impressive displays for Spurs this season, which have resulted in the talented stopper being linked with a number of top clubs this summer, including Manchester United and Real Madrid.

Right back: Pablo Zabaleta (Manchester City)
Zabaleta really is City’s Mr Consistent, and has been one of their key players for around seven years now. Easily gets into this team.

Centre back: Federico Fazio (Tottenham)
Although he was sent off in the reverse fixture this term against the defending league champions, Argentine centre back Fazio has slotted in well to Spurs’ defence in his first season in England.

Centre back: Jan Vertonghen (Tottenham)
Belgium international Vertonghen has also been a rock at the back for Tottenham this term, and he and Fazio get in ahead of inconsistent City pair this season Vincent Kompany and Martin Demichelis.

Left back: Danny Rose (Tottenham)
Rose’s performances this campaign earned him a call-up to the senior England side, and the former Leeds United graduate has been picked ahead of Ben Davies for much of the season.

Defensive midfield: Fernandinho (Manchester City)
The defensive midfielder has quietly gone about his business but has been trusted mainly in the holding role by Manuel Pellegrini. He gained an assist in his side’s 4-1 win over Spurs, and will be crucial to his side at White Hart Lane.

Right wing: David Silva (Manchester City)
Silky Spaniard Silva has been one of very few City players to have impressed this season, especially after Christmas. He has 11 goals in the top flight this term and is 15/8 to get another anytime here.

Attacking midfield: Christian Eriksen (Tottenham)
Young Danish star Eriksen has been a revelation for the north Londoners since his move from Ajax, in both the goal and assist department. He netted in the 4-1 loss to City, and is priced at 10/3 in the anytime market.

Left wing: Nacer Chadli (Tottenham)
A second Belgian that makes this side, and Chadli has dramatically improved this term by scoring 10 times the amount he managed last season in the Premier League (with 10).

Striker: Harry Kane (Tottenham)
Kane undoubtedly makes this team, after his 20 top-flight strikes in his breakthrough campaign. Tottenham and England fans will be desperately hoping he isn’t a one-season wonder, and he is 7/4 in the anytime market scorer here.

Striker: Sergio Aguero (Manchester City)
Aguero is the only person this season to have netted more than Kane in the Premier League, getting one more to date. The Argentine attacker amazing managed four goals in the 4-1 win at the Etihad, and is 5/1 to bag a brace or better once more.
