Luis Suarez and Samuel Eto’o enticing scoring double at 9/2

Journalists, pundits and commentators up and down the country have a problem. They are fast running out of superlatives to describe Luis Suarez.

He is odds-on at 1/100 to win the Premier League Golden Boot, surely a forgone conclusion, and 18/1 to achieve the same feat at this summer’s World Cup.

He’s answered every task Brendan Rodgers has asked of him this season, and undoubtedly is about to face his biggest. Manchester City are in town.

Equipped with arguably the best centre-half in world football, Vincent Kompany, Suarez will know he has a fight on his hands.

In tandem with strike partner Daniel Sturridge, he is more than capable of carving out chances in front of what will inevitably be a sell-out crowd.

Everyone associated with Liverpool Football Club, know that this is arguably their biggest domestic match for at least a decade.

Three points over their fierce rivals could put them one hand on the coveted Premier League trophy.

This fixture is expected to be highly charged for altogether different reasons. It marks the 25th anniversary of the Hillsborough disaster. The din will be deafening. Not that Suarez needs anymore motivation.

The Uruguayan has 29 goals in 28 appearances so far this term will relish the opportunity to perform against the best.

Chelsea’s Samuel Eto’o has perhaps exceeded expectations since arriving at Stamford Bridge. Everyone was aware of his talents, and goal scoring exploits. Jose Mourinho also doesn’t take chances on players.

The Cameroon international has 11 strikes in the Premier League. Not bad in a team that rotates its main front man consistently.

Eto’o is expected to start against Swansea who have conceded eight in their last four league games, and have invariably struggled to keep clean sheets this season.

His eye for goal, game intelligence, and sharpness is still there for everyone to see. With Willian, Oscar, and Salah providing from behind it is one of the best supply lines in the league. Eto’o only needs half a chance.
