Man City odds-on to retain Premier League title after fixture release

Title odds for the 2018/19 season
Manchester City are odds-on at 8/13 to become the first side in 10 years to win back-to-back Premier League titles following today’s fixture release.
The Citizens have been handed an opening day trip to Arsenal as they bid to follow up on last season’s incredible campaign. Pep Guardiola’s men dropped just 14 points on their way to a fifth top-flight title success and their third in seven years.
Liverpool have been marked up as their nearest challengers at 5/1. The Reds finished 25 points behind the Citizens in fourth last season following their run to the final of the Champions League.
Jurgen Klopp has already strengthened his side with the signings of Naby Keita and Fabinho from Monaco. And they look well-placed to mount a more significant title bid this time around.
Manchester United follow at 6/1 with manager Jose Mourinho sure to splash even more of Ed Woodward’s cash throughout the summer. The Red Devils were runners-up last year and are bidding for their first Premier League title since the departure of Sir Alex Ferguson.
“Manchester City are our overwhelming favourites to lift the Premier League trophy again next May and after their domination of last season it is hard to see who might be able to get near them.”
“They are the shortest priced of any side to win the title that we can remember for a very long time”, said Coral’s Harry Aitkenhead.
