The veteran goalkeeper, now 43 years old and playing for Spurs, holds the amazing record of most consecutive Premier League appearances after his 310 outings on-the-bounce during his time at Blackburn, Aston Villa and Tottenham.
Friedel is also the fourth most-capped goalkeeper in the USA’s history, after making his international debut in 1992, and going on to feature at the 1998 and 2002 World Cup finals.
His top-flight spells at both Blackburn and the Reds were glittered with sensational saves, spending three seasons at Anfield and eight at Ewood Park, with the American stopper also helping to secure a League Cup triumph during his time with the club.

The former Republic of Ireland international made over 100 appearances for the Merseyside outfit, before joining Blackburn in 1999.
McAteer was a versatile player, being deployed in centre midfield, full back and the right wing during his time in the Premier League with both clubs. His total transfer values from his playing career reached over £9m, while also having earned over 50 international caps for Ireland.

Controversial forward Bellamy knows what it takes to taste cup success, having helped fire Liverpool to a League Cup victory in 2012, as well as lifting the Scottish Cup with Celtic seven years earlier.
The Welsh attacker spent just a single campaign at Blackburn, before making a switch to Anfield in 2006, for his first spell on the Red half of Merseyside. Bellamy then featured for three further clubs, including Manchester City, before eventually rejoining Liverpool for a second stint in 2011.

Former midfield maestro Murphy lifted the FA Cup with the Reds in 2001, as part of a cup treble which also included a League Cup and UEFA Cup win.
Murphy was a fan favourite among the KOP faithful, making over 170 appearances during seven seasons. Although, it wasn’t until the end of his playing days that a move to Blackburn materialised, joining the Ewood Park outfit for the final year of his successful career.

Warnock is still plying his trade for Derby County in the Championship, but he lifted the FA Cup with Liverpool in 2006, before eventually making a move to Blackburn in 2007.
The full back has received two England caps, and was part of the 2010 World Cup squad, but narrowly missed out on cup success with Aston Villa, as they were beaten in 2010’s League Cup final by Manchester United. Warnock’s former club Blackburn are available at 66/1 to claim a famous cup coup this year.
