Matt Haynes | December 27, 2015

Crystal Palace v Swansea City

  • Monday, December 28th
  • Kick-off: 15:00 GMT
  • Selhurst Park, south London

Eagles to swoop on Swans

Crystal Palace, by and large, are having a good Christmas period in the Premier League so far and are unbeaten in five during what has been a busy schedule, winning three and drawing twice.

Palace are evens with Coral for the three points, which could well see Alan Pardew’s men impressively move into fourth place if other results go their way. Despite a lacklustre goalless draw at Bournemouth last time out, Palace have still done well to take three points from the Britannia in recent weeks.

Chung-Yong Lee grabbed the winner on that occasion and he is good value at 5/1 in the anytime market, while Fraizer Campbell who was a lone striker against the Cherries is 6/1 to break the deadlock.

Swansea, meanwhile, recorded their first win in eight attempts on Boxing Day with Ki Sung-Yueng netting the only goal. He is 6/1 to net anytime.

Everton v Stoke City

  • Kick-off: 15:00 GMT
  • Goodison Park, Liverpool

Potters primed for Everton

Having beaten Manchester United 2-0 on Boxing Day, Stoke will be more than ready to face Everton, knowing that a win can take them above their opponents.

Mark Hughes’ side are 3/1 to beat Everton with Bojan who netted the opener against the Red Devils 7/1 to do the same again. Marko Arnautovic, who was exceptional against United, has excellent 11/4 odds in the anytime market.

The hosts, though, beat Newcastle 1-0 last time out, with Tom Cleverley netting a last-gasp winner and, as a result is 7/1 anytime. Lethal striker Romelu Lukaku, who has been in prolific form of late, is 10/3 to break the deadlock, while Ross Barkley is available at 9/1 to score two or more.

Norwich City v Aston Villa

  • Monday, December 28th
  • Kick-off: 15:00 GMT
  • Carrow Road, Norwich

Great opportunity for either side

This, more or less, is what is known as a relegation six pointer, despite the visitors being bottom and trailing Norwich by nine points, the hosts can extend that even further here.

Villa, who are in desperate need of a win command a price of 13/5 to take the three points and last time the two side met, during the 2013/14 season the West Midlands outfit won both matches.

The visitors are now unbeaten in two matches, after consecutive 1-1 draws with striker Jordan Ayew scoring two in two. As a result, he commands odds of 11/4 in the anytime market.

Having beaten Manchester United 2-1, the hosts then lost 3-0 to Tottenham on Boxing Day, though Cameron Jerome, who scored at Old Trafford has been in decent form and is well priced at 4/1 to break deadlock.

Watford v Tottenham

  • Monday, December 28th
  • Kick-off: 15:00 GMT
  • Vicarage Road, Watford

Can Hornets deliver derby day sting?

This promises to be a fantastic game of football, with both teams flying high in the Premier League currently, with just three points separating either side.

The hosts are on a fantastic run at the moment, which sees them unbeaten in five matches, having won four. It is no shame to have been halted last time out by Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in what was a 2-2 draw and the Hornets are good value at 12/5 to win.

Britain Soccer Premier League

Odion Ighalo has scored six in his last five matches and is great value at 7/1 to score two or more, while Harry Kane struck twice against Norwich on Boxing Day and is 4/1 to open the scoring.

West Bromwich Albion v Newcastle United

  • Monday, December 28th
  • Kick-off: 15:00 GMT
  • The Hawthorns, Birmingham

Magpies look to bounce back

Newcastle will be hoping they can respond on a visit to the West Midlands, as they take on the Baggies with odds of 13/5 for the win.

Steve McClaren’s side were perhaps unfortunate to concede late on against Everton last time out and will feel they have more than enough guile to come away from The Hawthorns with the win.

Ayoze Perez, who has impressed lately is good value at 2/1 in the anytime market, while star turn Georginio Wijnaldum is more than capable of running the show and at 11/1 to score two or more, could be worth a gamble.

For the hosts, they went down 1-0 against Swansea last time out, so will also be looking for a response, however they have now lost two on the spin and their strikers have been out of sorts lately, with none of them scoring in their last seven matches.

Despite this, Saido Berahino is still 5/1 to break the deadlock, though Gareth McAuley, who was the last to score in the home defeat to Bournemouth could pop up again at The Hawthorns and is 8/1 anytime.
