Back Rooney and Lukaku with Coral both to score anytime

You can back in-form duo Wayne Rooney and Romelu Lukaku to both net against Manchester City and Newcastle United in Coral’s anytime goalscorer double at 6/1.

Manchester United’s Rooney comes into this game at Old Trafford on the back of his wonder strike against West Ham. He scored both goals of that match to help his side record back-to-back wins, and has odds of 9/1 to get a double or more again.

The England star is likely to be used further up the field again in the absence of fellow forward Robin van Persie, and enjoys a fabulous record against his upcoming opponents. Rooney has scored five in his last five against City and is priced at 13/8 in the anytime scorer market.

United go into the game as second-favourite at 23/10, but this head-to-head has managed to produce five goals or more in five of the last seven matches in all competitions. So don’t bet against the Red Devils’ main threat – who has four goals in his last four league games – to find the net.

Everton’s frontman Lukaku has managed to score 11 times in 22 Premier League matches since joining the club on loan from Chelsea this season. The big Belgian has netted two in his last three and has odds of 11/8 to get another anytime at St James’ Park.

The Toffees have won their last three in the league and that is why Coral have made them favourites at 5/4 for victory again.

Rooney (40/1 to be tournament top scorer) and Lukaku (33/1) are also likely to lead the way for England (28/1 trophy chances) and Belgium (14/1) respectively in the World Cup, and both have realistic chances of winning the Golden Boot.
