Swansea to receive no Christmas spirit from miserly Everton
Everton have won their last three away matches against Swansea without conceding and they should be backed at 7/2 to win to nil on Sunday.
Roberto Martinez’s side have already recorded away wins at Aston Villa, West Ham and Manchester United this season and they go into the weekend unbeaten in their last eight matches.
The North West side have won eight matches this season – four without conceding a goal – and they have lost just once in 16 matches.
No team has drawn more games than Everton this season but this is a fixture that they’ve dominated in recent years and former Swans manager Martinez will be keen to record his first win over his old side.
Bet on Everton to win to nil at 7/2
Everton have won their last five games at Swansea – three of them without conceding – and the Toffees are scoring goals from all over.
Whilst Romelu Lukaku has scored eight goals in 11 starts during his loan spell, 10 other players have found the net, eight of them scoring two or more.
Contrastingly, their hosts have been struggling for goals of late.
Michu missed November through injury but he hasn’t scored since returning and is a doubt for Sunday’s clash after picking up an ankle injury against Norwich.
Influential winger Nathan Dyer also went off during that game, and with powerful forward Wilfried Bony also a doubt for the game, the Swans’ forward line looks bare.
Bet on Everton to win to nil at 28/1
Swansea are far from a pushover, however Michael Laudrup’s side have only won two of their last 12 games in all competitions.
Fans in South Wales have cheered their side to comprehensive home victories against Newcastle and Sunderland, however Everton are a stronger side and Swansea have only taken one point this season from home games against Man Utd, Arsenal and Liverpool.
This fixture has finished 3-0 to Everton in two of the last three meetings and that scoreline is 28/1 to happen once more.
As mentioned, Lukaku has been in fine form since moving on loan from Chelsea, however defender Seamus Coleman has also provided plenty of profits for punters this season.
The Irish right-back has scored three goals and is 9/1 to score once again.
Bet on Seamus Coleman to score anytime at 9/1
Everton haven’t been prolific on the road this season, with 10 goals scored in eight games, but they are starting to look like strong Champions League candidates.
They have lost out in recent years, finding it too tough to bridge the gap between themselves and the big clubs.
However under Martinez they are more capable of winning tight matches and they enter this weekend in fifth place, just four points off the top of the table.
Everton to win to nil at 7/2
