PSG, Schalke, Club Bruges combine for sensational 7/2 Friday treble
Get that Friday feeling with a fantastic 7/2 treble offered by Coral, if you back Ligue 1 leaders PSG to win in Nice, Bundesliga team Schalke for victory at home to Hertha Berlin and Club Bruges to beat Belgian title rivals Lokeren.
Nice v PSG
Champions League hopefuls (11/1) PSG travel to Nice knowing they have come out on top in the last two head-to-heads by scoring three goals. Laurent Blanc’s boys are odds-on favourites for victory here at 2/5.
Sweden star Zlatan Ibrahimovic has five goals in three outings against Nice. PSG have lost just once away from home in Ligue 1 all season, so back him to hit a hat-trick (as he did in the reverse fixture) here at 8/1.
Odds on a 3-0 away for the Parisians are attractively priced at 14/1. There is a history of bad blood in the fixture to boot, with five red cards (three for Nice) in the last six battles.
Schalke v Hertha Berlin
Gelsenkirchen outfit Schalke have won 10 of the last dozen meetings with capital club Hertha. Berlin, meanwhile have recorded just one victory in this fixture since 2004.
Jens Keller’s side thus start as odds-on 7/10 favourites for three points. Dutch striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar has three goals in two career appearances against Hertha, so back him at 3/1 to score first, or take the same price on him netting two or more. Arsenal target Julian Draxler netted on his only senior start against Berlin so far, so take 2/1 on him being on target anytime.
Schalke have lost just twice at home all season in the Bundesliga and have the joint-second best defensive record on their own patch, behind champions Bayern Munich. You can get odds of 17/10 on them keeping a clean sheet and 11/5 on a win to nil.
Club Bruges v Lokeren
Bruges have been victorious in four of the last five encounters since Lokeren last beat them. They are odds-on to win this opening Belgian title play-off match at 8/11.
Michel Preud’homme has a squad packed full of talent at his disposal. Names including Iceland icon Eidur Gudjohnsen, Burundi frontman Mohammed Tchite and tricky Polish winger Waldemar Sobota could all cause problems for Lokeren.
Take odds of 5/2 on Club Bruges scoring three goals or more. A clean sheet for them is 31/20 and a win to nil is 21/10.
