Saturday acca: £1 pays £349

Frank Monkhouse | 3 February 2017

Try your luck on our tempting 10-fold

There’s plenty for Coral punters to get their teeth into on Saturday and our football team put forward a ten-fold that, with a sprinkling of good fortune, could see you win big. £1 pays £349.95. Prices and returns are correct at the time of writing.

Everton beat Bournemouth

The high-flying Toffees kick us off when hosting lowly Bournemouth at Goodison Park. The locals enter with confidence to burn, undefeated in their last six – four wins and two draws – and targeting a place in the top-four. The fixture list this month has given them every chance to push for that too. But they must get results. The Cherries are winless in 2017. 4/6 is perfect for our needs.

Tottenham beat Middlesbrough

Saturday’s late match, live on the box, and it really doesn’t pay to oppose Spurs this season. They’re second in the league, above old rivals Arsenal, with everything to play for. Unbeaten since early December, they show a recent record of six wins and two draws from eight. Boro haven’t won in six and, if this follows the form, it’s quite simple. We go 1/4 the hosts.

Reading beat Ipswich

Dropping into the Championship and The Tractor Boys must be opposed as they have picked up just one point from the last nine available to them, scoring one goal during that run. They were hammered 3-0 by Derby on their last appearance and when thrown in against a Reading side on a three-match winning run, the 13/8 looks like a must-have.

Fulham beat Birmingham

It’s barely worth mentioning who Birmingham are playing these days, as they are their own worst enemy. Without a win since beating Ipswich on 13th December, they have lost five of eight since, going from promotion contenders to a struggling midtable side. They’ll fall further too. Fulham need three points to match the play-off places. 21/20 isn’t bad.

Sheffield United beat AFC Wimbledon

Sheffield United will be playing Championship football next season, that much looks obvious, but they can go up as champions with a little bit of improvement. They’re on a three-game winless run, but slip-ups happen over the course of a season, and they’ve not forgotten how to win. On their own patch they should know enough at 4/9.

Bradford beat Gillingham

Bradford were expected to be pushing for promotion at this stage, but they have made a meal of it so far. Three wins in their last 10 has caused them to slip down the pecking order. They won last time out however, and made some shrewd moves in January. The newbies should freshen things up and The Bantams join our team at 8/13.

Doncaster beat Morecambe

Darren Ferguson’s Doncaster are seven-points clear at the top of League Two, and are really catching the eye this season. They are unbeaten in eight – seven wins and a draw – and hammered Morecambe 5-1 in the reverse of this fixture back in September. With that in mind, 4/9 looks very fair indeed.

Aberdeen v CS Fola Esch - UEFA Europa League - Qualifying First Round - Pittodrie Stadium

Aberdeen beat Partick

The Dons are involved in a tussle with Rangers for second-place, and with The Bears out of form, they have to pick up the slack. A win over relegation-threated Partick would certainly pile the pressure on and we back them at 4/7.

Falkirk beat Dunfermline

In the Scottish Championship Dunfermline are unbeaten in nine, but five of those have been draws and they lost 2-1 when coming here back in October. Falkirk have scored seven goals in their last three games, home advantage should be the difference at 21/20.

Morton beat QOS

Lastly, it’s the biggest price of the lot, but I struggle to see why. Morton are third in the league, just three points off Dundee United, with a game in hand. QOS are fifth with two wins in their last 10, both against relegation-threatened sides. 15/8 Morton, wow.
