A look at the snaps from the weekend’s sport
Wow, another weekend in the book, and we hope it was a profitable one for our followers. There was no doubt where the major news story went, as lowly Lincoln knocked Burnley out of the FA Cup. That means they are the first Non-League side to reach the last-eight in 103 years. They could now face Arsenal.
It was not the only talking point however, but we’ll shut up and let the pictures tell the story…..

Where else could we start? Lincoln City’s Sean Raggett celebrates scoring against Burnley to knock them out of the FA Cup. The Non-League side paid little heed to their opponent’s home form, and now play Arsenal or Sutton in the quarter-finals.

Cue Card pulls away on-route to winning Saturday’s Grade One Ascot Chase. Winning by 15-lengths, it was another hugely impressive run as the team sharpen their tools for an assault on the upcoming Cheltenham Festival.

Boxer Adrien Broner beat Adrian Granados in Ohio on Saturday night. It was an unconvincing effort from The Problem however, taking a 10 round split decision verdict. A glamour fight with Scotland’s world champion Ricky Burns could be the next step.

Jo-Wilfried Tsonga celebrates winning his match against Belgium’s David Goffin in three sets, 4-6, 6-4, 6-1, in the final of the Rotterdam Open on Sunday. It was a battling performance which lifts him to number 11 in the world.

Wigan Warriors beat Cronulla Sharks 22-6 to win a record fourth World Club Challenge at the weekend. Joe Burgess was the star of the day, scoring three tries. They are the first English club to be crowned world champions since 2012.
