17:15 – Weatherbys Champion Bumper
Favourite Moon Racer (9/2) stopped Mullins’ contingent in this National Hunt flat race. Modus (33/1) and Wait For Me (9/1) were placed.

16:40 – Fred Winter Juvenile Handicap Hurdle
Qualando (25/1) and Bouvreuil (14/1) do a one-two for Nicholls here. The Saint James (33/1) and Starchitect (16/1) were placed, as favourite Arabian Revolution (7/1) flopped.

16:00 – Glenfarclas Cross Country Handicap Chase
Rivage D’Or, a 16/1 shot, triumphed ahead of Any Currency (7/1). Uncle Junior and Dogora (both 20/1) completed the places. Fancied pair Duke of Lucca and Sire Collognes disappointed.

Great run from Dodging Bullets

15:20 – Queen Mother Champion Chase
Nicholls made it back-to-back wins with Dodging Bullets (9/2), who held off 33/1 outsider Somersby and Special Tiara (18/1), as former winners Sire De Grugy (5/2 favourite) and Sprinter Sacre (9/4) struggled in the closing stages. Champagne Fever and Claracam were non-runners.

They may have a point….

14:40 – Coral Cup
In the most open field at the Festival, 9/1 second-favourite Aux Ptits Soins, trained by Paul Nicholls, held off 25/1 Zabana and the fancied Actival (17/2) in third ahead of Taglietelle (14/1).

13:30 – Neptune Investment Novices’ Hurdle
Windsor Park (backed in from 5/1 to 9/2 SP) romped home, after Beast of Burden made most of the running up until the last. Favourite Nichols Canyon (7/2) came in third for Ruby Walsh and Willie Mullins behind 13/2 chance Parlour Games, ridden by AP McCoy.

14:05 – RSA Chase
Don Poli, the 13/8 favourite, took this one comfortably, giving Mullins yet another Festival winner, ahead of Southfield Theatre (13/2) and Wounded Warrior (12/1). The Ould Lad was a non-runner, but the other eight horses raced.

Phil Jones might have a few quid on by the looks of it….

And were off!
