Trader’s Tips: Cheltenham Day Three NAP
Coral’s very own racing trader Jason Ryan gives you his NAP on Day Three of the Cheltenham Festival
There’s no other way to say it, our horse racing trader Jason Ryan in on fire!! After tipping up Tully East at double figures on Day One, he was up to his usual tricks yesterday, giving the nod to Fayonagh, who duly obliged with a superb ride from Jamie Codd.
So, do you want to see what Jason’s backing today? Of course you do! Read on for his verdict on today’s Stayers’ Hurdle…
“JEZKI is just about my favourite horse in training and while a man in my position has no time for sentiment, I simply can’t get away from him today. The apple of Jessica Harrington’s eye is the undoubted ‘class horse’ in the race and he showed no ill-effects of a near two-year lay off when quickening clear of Renneti and Tombstone on his reappearance at Navan in January. He wasn’t so good next time out on bottomless ground at Gowran, but it’s public knowledge that he hates soft ground and it’s easy to put a line through it. He jumps like a Champion Hurdler, he’s got the class of a Champion Hurdler and I’m confident he’ll stay. His greatest moment came when putting another JP McManus owned hotpot in his place at this very track and I’m not so sure this year’s Stayers’ favourite, Unowhatimeanharry, has met a horse as good as he’ll face today. Jump on the Jezki train.”
