Tuesday’s Market Movers – Myboyalfie well backed to return to form
4.30 Chepstow – Myboyalfie
Myboyalfie is one of the best backed horses in the Coral offices today having seen steady support throughout the morning. He’s now just 4/1 having been backed all the way down from 8/1.
John Jenkin’s eight year-old has struggled of late finishing last but one at Newmarket on his last start. He’s been finding life difficult on the flat but has been dropped 4lbs by the handicapper. He’s been tried over hurdles and although that didn’t work out, the handicapper has given him a chance back on the flat. This is possibly his easiest task for a fair while and there is confidence in the market behind him.
4.50 Fontwell – Benefits Well
In today’s opener at Fontwell, Benefits Well has been well supported in the market and this lightly-raced eight year old is now 15/8 from 11/4.
He made a very promising return to racing having been on the sidelines for just short of two years at Uttoxeter last time out. He makes only his second start for Warren Greatrex today and with Noel Fehily booked, there’s support for him in the market. He should strip fitter for the benefit of that run and could be well handicapped here.
