Wednesday’s Market Movers – Bollinski looking to turn around poor form
3.10 Catterick – Rock On Bollinski
In the 3.10 at Catterick, Brian Ellison’s Rock On Bollinski has been well backed to break his maiden tag having been supported into 5/1 from 8/1 this morning.
A twelve race maiden, Rock On Bollinski has found life difficult in handicap company recently. He switched to Brian Ellison’s yard this season and his handicap mark has dropped from 72 right down to 60 from which he races today. He’s been tried at a mile and four on his last two starts but goes up in trip today to a mile and seven furlongs. De Sousa is back on board the bay gelding and the market is confident he can display a better performance than he has so far this season.
7.15 Bellewstown – Benkei
In the 7.15 handicap at Bellewston, Benkei has been well backed to notch up a double. Available with Coral at 9/2 this morning, this son of Galileo is now priced at just 11/4.
He’s been in fine fettle of late with form figures of: 121. He’s risen a rather hefty 20lbs in the weights since his first victory but there is steady support for him to go in again. Benkei drops in trip from two miles to a mile and four to aid his chances of coping with the added weight and punters seem confident that can see him record another success in his purple patch.
