Daryl Jacob Interview

Haydock Races

Riding favourite Cue Card in the Betfair Chase on Saturday is something better than Daryl Jacob ever expected after taking the decision to go freelance this season. The Grand National-winning jockey may have ended last season on a low having broken his arm, elbow and leg in a bizarre fall at the Cheltenham Festival, but his brave decision will be more than vindicated if he lands this weekend’s feature. We spoke to him about the prospect of riding last year’s winner. More info.

This Saturday’s live C4 offering sees the unleashing of some more big guns including the reappearance of the unbeaten Faugheen in the Coral Hurdle at Ascot. Whilst the first three home in last year’s Betfair Chase return to do battle again at Haydock. Our jumps guru has been sifting through the cards and is feeling confident about supplying some more winners. More Info.
