Four men standing for Premier League Darts season finale

Premier League Darts finals night is at last upon us, with four giants of the game set to fight it out for the prestigious honour at The O2 in London.

Former winners of this competition Phil Taylor (6/4 to claim his seventh title), Michael van Gerwen (13/10) and Gary Anderson (15/2), as well as five-time World Darts Champion Raymond van Barneveld (8/1) make up the line-up on the evening.

Michael van Gerwen v Gary Anderson
Reigning Premier League and World Champion Van Gerwen finished first once again in the table in only his second season, and is understandably the favourite both to reach the final at 1/3, and defend his crown at 13/10.

However, the Dutchman faces a fellow former tournament winner Anderson who is on better form in the league. The Flying Scotsman, who finished fourth ahead of compatriot Peter Wright, is undefeated in his last seven matches, and is an enticing 9/4 to upset the odds.

Van Gerwen, on the other hand, has suffered two losses in that time, including the 7-4 defeat to Anderson three rounds ago. The match is now a best of 15 legs (19 for the final), so take a price of 14/1 if you believe the Scot can beat MVG by three (8-5) again.

Anderson has recorded the highest checkouts in three of the weeks this season so far, and still has the joint-best finish of the tournament at 170 (with Simon Whitlock), so back him at 3/1 to be top once more in the semis.

Dutchman Van Gerwen, meanwhile, has the most 180s in the competition of the four remaining players. He is favourite at 11/8 to get the highest amount of maximums from the semi-finals.

Raymond van Barneveld v Phil Taylor
Old foes Barney and The Power lock horns once more, and it is six-time champion Taylor who is odds-on at 4/11 to get through this battle.

Van Barneveld finished second in the league, but ahead of his opponent and Anderson only on leg difference. The Dutchman had a fantastic season overall however, having lost his last two matches of the season and Taylor undefeated in his previous 11, it is no wonder why the former is only priced at 21/10 for victory.

The duo drew both of their head-to-heads earlier this season, so expect a tight affair again. Taylor is an 8/1 shout to win 8-7, and 13/2 to beat Barney 8-6.

If Van Barneveld is the man for you, make sure you take advantage of the fantastic price of 8/1 for him to be King of the Oche (to win the match, get most 180s and highest checkout) in this semi-final. This is a great offer seeing as RVB is ahead of Taylor in terms of the latter two records this season.

The odds-on favourites to reach the final are Van Gerwen and Taylor, at 5/6, but a ‘Battle of Britain’ face off between Anderson and The Power is a great shout at 7/2.

Other special odds Coral offer, include for their to be a nine-dart finish on the night at 7/1, and a 170 checkout at 7/2.
