Martin O’Neill’s side are third best in the betting just ahead of Scotland who are available at evens with the firm following a tight defeat away to World Champions Germany.
In Group F, Northern Ireland came away with a surprise victory on the road to Hungary are into 2-1 to make it through to the tournament proper in 2016.
11-1 shots Albania produced one of the shocks of the day as they beat Portugal in Lisbon to upset the 2-7 favourites on their home soil.
